Time. There never seems to be enough of it, especially in the classroom. There are so many things that educators are asked on a daily basis that time management can become "the thing" that make or breaks how a classroom looks, sounds, and feels to both students and teachers.
Mareen Service, first-grade educator at Alexander Elementary for @APSMaplePride (Adrian Public Schools) is one educator that has time on her side. She will be the first to tell you that the framework of Daily 5 is something she is still working to perfect, as well, but her classroom is proof that a transition between Daily rotations can be teaching time with purposeful planning to engage students in the importance of the work regardless of the time of day.
How have you worked this year to manage all that has been asked of you while still creating a balance for you and your students to focus upon what is meaningful?
Every day in Many Ways!
